A comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly and the views from the apartment were great. The breakfast was a good buffet and the dinner was well cooked food.

The apartment was comfortable, but probably not as well equipped as we might have hoped. That being said, extras were provided on request. The time of year we went was very much end of season, and we would love to see how different the place is then! We would love to be able to have a few walking routes developed around the property.

Top Top Top !! We had a really wonderful stay at "Tenuta Pilastru". Very nice and helpful team, always ready do give us excellent suggestions where to go and what to do. The room was spacious and very clean with a great WIFI connection . Perfect warm pleasant weather in October. Excellent quality and price.

Very quiet and beautiful

Location, vibe, garden, everything is beautiful. Free parking, room was nice with access to garden. Polite staff in the hotel and restaurant.

Breakfast was average. Very bad tea options also not many healthy options and a lot of cakes which is not usually something you want to eat for breakfast.

Nice and relax stay in the country side surrounded by nature. A car is needed to move around.

Lovely place surrounded by nature. Good room size. Nice gardens and swimming pool with a bar next to it. There’s also a nice restaurant with limited but good food. There’s also a spa but we didn’t use it.

Breakfast choice is limited and becomes monotone. The spa is paid separately and it’s not cheap. Some of the spa facilities (sauna, jacuzzi, indoor pool) should be included in the price of the room.

Peaceful, beautiful inland location with amazing dinners

Peaceful and beautiful location - great to be close to the amazing rocks the define the scenery in this part of Sardinia. Evening dinners were delicious and very good value compared to prices in coastal restaurants. Room was spacious - we had the little apartment with self catering opportunity. Pool cafe made lovely salads for lunch. Reception team and all staff were very friendly and helpful for advice on what to do and reservations etc.

Bed was very hard but they did provide a topper which helped a bit after we asked. Room was not serviced at all in 8 days although we could have paid a fee to have this - would have been good to be provided with extra bin bags and told where to put rubbish etc if no service for such a long rental. We tried breakfast once but didn’t feel it was that great for €40 after how good the evening food is so was happy to have the self catering option for breakfast. The spa was only open in the afternoon (strange since most people would exercise in the morning before breakfast) and the prices for treatment are reasonable but I never managed to get an appointment in time - use of the gym and indoor pool is paid and you have to pre book which seemed OTT and hence did not use it.

a fantastic immersion in regenerative nature!

we came to this spectacular estate out of sheer curiosity and we can confirm that everything was simply fantastic, the typical Italian welcome we always enjoy, smiles and cheerfulness, good food and spacious, clean and well-kept rooms! The restaurant is one of the highlights and I highly recommend trying the fresh pasta made during the cooking class, the ‘Mazza Frissa’ and the barbecued suckling pig!The estate offers the possibility of pleasant walks, of being completely immersed in nature from the very first waking up when the silence and the scents of the countryside greet you. I had the pleasure of getting to know the identity culture of this wonderful island and I am happy to have stayed in this magnificent place.

We had a great stay at Tenuta Pilastru! We enjoyed the pool and the amazing dinner with a gorgeous Nuraghe scenery!

Quiet holidays in the north of Sardegna

Beautiful hotel, well curated Our room was spacious, well decorated and with a nice terrace to the swimming pool The location is close to San Pantaleo and Porto Cervo but at the same time quiet enough for a relaxing vacation

The restaurant has room to improve and I do not believe it is at the same level as the hotel. For instance it has a poor wine menu and the food overall was average, nothing exceptional.

We will come back! Thank you for your hospitality and keep the hotel to the same level.

We initially arrived to a different hotel (5*) booked for the entire stay. We quickly realized that 5* standard in Sardinia is not what you get in other countries. The value for money is very low. You feel being ripped off for everything. Facilities very old.. luckily and by chance we found Tenuta Pilastru. The big difference to many hotels we checked on Sardinia is 1) Professional employees - great service everywhere (which is not given in Italy) from reception to restaurant (we were given also free upgrade of the room as it had no balcony - very nice gesture, and we actually prolonged our stay!) 2) NEW facilities, also not given in Italy. Not bland colors and old furniture. New bathroom, new bedroom, everything is of high quality and new, finally felt back to 2023 (in other hotel it was back in 70s). 3) location - is great hidden in the nature, beautiful to relax. Very well taken care of! 4) food in the restaurant was great and not overpriced, freshly made and very tasty.

The only point would be about a weak Wi-Fi but given we are fully in the nature it’s ok for me. We wanted to go so spa but once we saw that there were like 8 people we decided to cancel ( a bit to small for this amount of people, I would keep it to make 4 people and have more air inside).

Beautiful and quiet stay in amazing surroundings

The serene atmosphere, beautiful and uninterrupted views including sunset, the central location (for visiting any corner in north Sardinia within 30mins or driving), the remoteness of it, the way it was built around the ancient stone structures and made it part of the surrounding nature, the locally sourced and very tasty food, the simple but ever changing dinner menu, reasonable prices for mini-fridge items as well as dinner, good selection for breakfast

No remote control for the air con, no accessible tap water, no chargers for EVs, no shops in the vicinity, could do with more water pressure, weird waste pipe connection causing shower waste noises whenever flushing the toilet

I’ll be back.

The whole property was great. The restaurant was spectacular. The staff was super nice.

Hotel guests should have the priority sitting on the terrasse. The pool area snack place needs to provide better quality food. Possible to have some tv channels in other languages like English or French or Spanish.

Perfect place to relax

What an amazing vacation; Relax, excellent food, good weather, pool, biking, sailing ...what else ? The staff had beed very friendly and welcoming and made our staying unforgettable. The arranged a wine tour at Surrau wine farm and an amazing sailing boat tour at the Maddalena where we even saw a flock of dolphins jumping out of the emerald water, Breakfast was rich with sardinian fresh products and the dinner just amazing ! The room sprakling clean with great view on the garden with the pool. Perfect place to relax and unwind.
